Although we had always, as a family, appreciated good food, organic produce and home cooked meals, it was not until we began to use Green Cuisine that we fully appreciated the different quality and taste of really fresh, local or well sourced products. We are hooked. If we don't have our fix of fresh mixed salad, seasonal vegetables, creamy cheeses, cordials and delicious meat (with real flavour), we begin to feel we are not eating at all - just chewing. Even when we go on holiday, we have to pack enough Green Cuisine food to make what we find elsewhere bearable.

Green Cuisine vegetables taste better than supermarket organic produce; they always seem fresher, look like they have come from a farm (uneven, interesting shapes) and usually are cheaper than their equivalent in supermarkets. And if you need to identify the provenance of anything that you are buying, then Andrew or Marcia are always able to provide information about where goods have come from, and sometimes w hen they have been picked - the sweetcorn today, the eggs yesterday, no carrots this week, the ground too frosted. Buying in this way feels more connected to both the seasons and the locality than when you shop in bulk at a supermarket; you are benefiting from, and also benefiting, small, local producers who offer excellent quality food.

Anyway, supermarkets don't offer the range, the interesting specialities of a Green Cuisine; Godminster cheddar cheese, duck, salmon, rhubarb, blackcurrants, gooseberries, squashes. And what's more, it's all delivered to the door, it's packaged like some splendid visual extravaganza - all colour and texture

There are some things in life that one must be most particular about; such as caring for one another, helping those in need, reversing the damage done to the environment and protecting the health and well being of one's family. If we do not have good health we can do little to make a positive difference to this suffering world. You are doing the duty of an entire community in caring for the health of hundreds of people by providing safe, harm free, locally produced, excellent quality, nutritious organic, fairly traded food.

The wonderful organic food that we buy from you helps support local farmers, and does not add to transport costs and pollution as well as giving our family the best food available. I am at peace knowing that my children are not eating pesticides, insecticides, steroids, genetically modified, additive riddled, artificially coloured enhanced foods that will make them ill and promote the cancers that run rampant in our society. None of us suffers from winter colds and flu and I know that it is as a direct result of our healthy diet bought from Green Cuisine.

We are spoilt for choice by the selection of products that you offer and you endeavour to always cater to our sometimes quirky requests such as South African red bush tea or 16k of strong white baking flour or gluten fee, diary free cereals and puddings. You are always helpful,cheerful, reliable and competitively priced. Over the many years we have been with you, I know that I would not have managed with out you.

Having our food delivered on a weekly basis is heavenly because with 7 in the house, numerous visitors, students from abroad staying in the summers, children from Chernobyl needing good healthy food and care, shopping is a terrible chore that becomes quite stressful. We can order any amount of any item which is so much more suited for us than box schemes and your range is better than any organic store in South Wales.
