"Although I had heard about organic box schemes and thought they were a great idea, as a child who was very fussy about vegetables who grew into an adult who was still fussy about vegetables, I was concerned that we might end up with a lot of produce that I couldn't eat. However, Green Cuisine even caters for fussy eaters like me. As we can rule out any items we really don't like, it isn't a problem.
The scheme has also encouraged me to try new foods. For instance, I would never have bought a butternut squash, but now it's one of my favourites. Neither would I have considered making my own pasta sauce from fresh tomatoes which is something that I now do on a regular basis. Thanks to Green Cuisine, my partner and I now eat a much healthier diet and look forward to the arrival of the box each week. The fruit and vegetables also taste a lot better than bland supermarket produce and having everything delivered to our house once a week is very convenient. • How Do I Pay? C.O.D. or if you would prefer a monthly pre-payment. Pre-payment makes ordering much more user friendly by removing the need to re-order your box on a weekly basis, as it will automatically be delivered at the same time each week.
